The Unsung Hero...

I am known as the Mistress of the Obvious. I shall proudly proclaim the Truths of Life, as no incident is considered Insignificant..... and all are considered Fair Game.....

I consider this to be not only my Civic Duty, but my Mission in Life... and I shall endeavor to spread the Words of Obviousness to every land. I will tell it wherever it needs to be heard....

Letting it ring out Loudly and Strong...

Wherever there is Obtuseness, and Incompetence in the world.....I shall be there.

Wherever there is that moment of revelation as you walk into a pole...

Rest assured I have seen you.

For that moment in time when you finally locate your glasses perched upon your head...

I am watching.

And in that moment of silence when your bodily functions violently rebel... I know it was you.

Whenever you walk into a glass door..you will hear my voice.

If you trip on a rug that has no wrinkles...I shall be heard.

And if you find that last step that isn't there whilst drinking....

Never Fear...

The Mistress of Obviousness is here....

Melissa, something is really wrong with your blog...lol I don't know why the spaces betweent he paragraphs won't shw correctly... I will check it out later :D

:D

this post game such a hard time, the space between paragraphs was so difficult to get.

just like in your Private Musings... I don't know what happens, I keep changing them and nothing, we might need to change the lay out :D lol

I will let you know later :D

Great job you two!!!

Thank you everyone!!!

I am enjoying the pictures so much. Zayury you captured everything so perfectly, and Sandy you always put it together so well.

Thank you boith for helping, and volunteering to do this...I once again am humbled by your creative talents!!!

And Thank you Pablo, I am glad you enjoyed it also!!!

And Leah, I knew you would like it, especially since the actual poem was inspired by a conversation of silliness between you me and Sandy a while back. But I thank you again, I really greatly appreciate your comments. They mean so much to me.

And as for the "Mistress" portrayed here. Yeah....that's me.

I originally started calling myself the Mistress of the Obvious when I was 15 years old. It was funny. But the poem didn't come about until that conversation.

So thank you Leah, and Sandy, and Zayury....for Bringing her to life once more!!!!

Melissa

P.S.

That would be the reason none of my stories have paragraphes...I put them in there with paragraphs...but they don't stay...LOL!!!

Just give me a shout if you want me to help figure out what's wrong with the layout, OK?

I love it! Humorous concept.

Fabulous pictures - I love the one where he walks into a pole - and the one where he's trying to find his glasses.

Great job, you two! Well done.

Thanks Ariana!!!

IParticularlyt like the one about the glasses too, that was inspired by my hubby. Heh heh heh!!! He actaully did that..took himasbout half an hour of looking for them. Meanwhile I am asking what he is looking for, but he wouldn't answer. I got mad, and said if he would take his glasses off the top of his head and put them on his face he might actually see what he was looking for.

Wished I'd had a camera.....LOL!!!!!

I am glad you liked it...me and my irrepressable sense of humor will end up in big trouble some day...I can just feel it coming.

I can definitely relate. Walking into the door is one of my favorites!

Gayl is right, this is hysterical! I really, really like it!

I am so glad you liked it! And even happier it made you laugh!

All I could think about this one is how many peole do you know who has done this, or maybe it was yourself.

Human nature is a very funny thing to watch....and I take great pleasure in doing so...

Thank you!!!

Ok I admit, I have done some of these things too!!!!
